X-TERRA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2025 IN THE BRENTA DOLOMITES: LARA LOVISI RANKS 4TH PLACE
Lara Lovisi delivered an extraordinary performance at the 2025 X-Terra World Championship, held in the stunning setting of the Brenta Dolomites in Trentino. The young Italian athlete achieved an exceptional 4th place in the Youth A category, finishing first among the Italian representatives, in a competition that brought together the world’s top off-road triathlon specialists.
From her first swim strokes, Lara set an aggressive pace, maintaining a high and decisive pace. In the mountain bike leg, she put on a spectacular performance, consistently staying in the leading group (remaining among the top five athletes out of a field of over 50) and demonstrating great technical mastery and physical strength. Even in the final sprint, despite the fast pace imposed by her opponents, she managed the race with clarity in every phase, reaching the 4th place with less than a minute from the top step of the world podium.
The result at the X-Terra World Championship crowns a successful 2025 season for Lara Lovisi, who has excelled in numerous disciplines: Winter Triathlon, Winter Duathlon, Classic Triathlon, X-Terra, Road Running, and Trail Running. Over the course of the year, she earned 39 podiums, confirming her position as one of the most talented young talents in Italian and international triathlon.
It’s also a great satisfaction for her coach, rewarded by her continuous technical, physical, and mental improvements. Lara Lovisi’s performance not only represents a high-level personal achievement, but is also a source of pride for the entire Italian youth triathlon movement, which is increasingly competitive on the international stage.
