Following Fabia Maramotti\u2019s 2024 victory<\/strong>, this year it was Fabrizio Ghilardi<\/strong> who took the spotlight, finishing 2nd in the Over 50 category<\/strong> with an impressive time of 3 days and 3 hours<\/strong>. The Race Across the West<\/strong> is a world-renowned ultracycling event<\/strong>, covering over 1,384 km<\/strong> (860 miles) with 15,000 meters of elevation gain<\/strong>, across deserts, mountains, and extreme terrain. Competing in this race demands not only peak physical endurance but also meticulous mental preparation<\/strong>, nutrition strategy<\/strong>, and logistical planning<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
