Join our event to learn more and experience the Backstage of the race.<\/p>\n<p>RACE ACROSS THE WEST<\/p>\n<p>ENDURANCE CYCLING<\/p>\n<p><b>1500 km &#8211; 15000 m elevation gain &#8211; 800 km of desert at 40\u00b0C <\/b><\/p>\n<p>A heatstroke that would have taken down anyone, the bicycle almost carried away by a tornado, hallucinations in the desert, a continuous struggle with sleep, to the point of gulping down olive oil as if it were a super-powered Gatorade. Fabia Maramotti is the twenty-nine-year-old professional cyclist and triathlete from Reggio Emilia who participated in the Race Across the West 2024 &#8211; from California to Colorado &#8211; winning in the women&#8217;s category in three days and one hour. Let&#8217;s follow this amazing journey to the limits of human possibility, watching the docufilm directed by Andrea Bauce that reveals all the emotions of the athlete, her coach and her team in this all-encompassing effort.
